Supplements Distribution
Move your cursor on and off the map to see the two versions.

The map of blue dots on a yellow background shows supplements requests. One blue dot has been placed in each zip code from which we have received one (or more) requests. The map of white dots on a black background is an actual NOAA satellite photograph of the USA at night showing points of light where people live. By moving your cursor rapidly on and off the map, you can see the relationship between distribution of the NIH supplements and population density.

There are nearly 16,500 zip codes in the U.S. with populations greater than 2500 people. We have mailed supplements to over 16,700 zip codes.
