Build Now hosts a monthly speaker series called Build Now TALKS. On the third Thursday of every month, Build Now hosts a guest speaker to provide information about a topic that is on the minds of New Orleans residents. The event is free and open to the public, but due to space considerations they ask that attendees pre-register for the events they wish to attend.

The topic of this month's discussion is 'Keep Your Head Above Water: How to Get the Money You Need to Elevate Your Home', a comprehensive discussion of the numerous available sources of elevation funding, who is eligible, and what costs can be covered.
