Global Green Panel Discussion: Louisiana's role in reducing green house gas emissions
01/21/2009 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm

Global Green is proud to partner with AIA, New Orleans and the U.S. Green Building Council-Louisiana Chapter to present a monthly panel discussion series on issues of sustainability in the built environment.

This month's panel presents examples of how the industries of Louisiana and its citizens can dramatically reduce greenhouse gas emissions through supporting the replacement coal-fired electric generators with combined-cycle gas turbines fueled by natural gas and local industries providing the delivery infrastructure needed to support large-scale CO2 sequestration.

Panelists include Harvey Ford, PE. Mr. Ford is a retired Mechanical & Aerospace Engineer who has given presentations on this issue throughout the country. We hope you can join us for this informative and important panel discussion.

The panel is free and open to the public. Continuing Education credits apply. Refreshments will be served.

Location:
The Contemporary Arts Center
900 Camp Street
New Orleans, La. 70130
