8(a)/HUBZone/SDVOSB Seminar Information

 

The IRS Small Business Program Office hosts a one-day seminar for 8(a), HUBZone, and SDVOSB concerns. The purpose of the seminar is to assist and educate 8(a), HUBZone, and SDVOSB concerns on (1) how to market to the IRS; (2) provide an overview of the IRS organizational structure; (3) introduce IRS Procurement managers; (4) teach the basics of federal contracting laws, statutes, and clauses found in or relevant to the process of submitting proposals for contracting opportunities; (5) discuss subcontracting opportunities with an IRS large business contractor; and (6) provide instruction in cost and technical proposal preparation. PLEASE NOTE - THIS IS NOT A TAX SEMINAR. The next IRS 8(a)/HUBZone/SDVOSB  Seminar will be held on November 12, 2008. The cost for this one-day seminar is $50.00 per company. Each company is limited to three participants.   The fee is used to defray the costs of the materials provided at the seminar to each participant. You will be asked to submit payment only after you are confirmed as a registrant. Each seminar is limited to 30 participants, on a first-registered, first-placed basis.
