In 1989, Seeds of Change started with a simple mission: to help preserve biodiversity and promote sustainable, organic agriculture. By cultivating hundreds of open-pollinated, organically grown, heirloom and traditional vegetable, flower and herb seeds, we have kept to this mission. Click here for more About Us.
Seeds: Our seed list is like our extended family. They are the plants we live with day-to-day, nurturing them as they nurture us. So we choose carefully what we add to our list from year to year. In 2007 we welcomed 72 new intros to the Seeds of Change family and continue to cultivate more throughout the year.
Zone Chart: Annual seed can generally be planted in
any garden in any area of the world. The maturity of the plant will depend on the length of the growing season; each of our seed varieties lists its "Days to Maturity" to help you plan your garden. Successful perennial gardening requires an understanding of the hardiness zone in your specific microclimate. An easy way to find your zone is by knowing what your minimum temperature is during the wintertime. You can check your zone here on the USDA Zone
Chart.
All of Our Seeds are 100% Certified Organic:

Our Catalog and Website: We understand the pleasure of flipping through the catalog and having it around to reference when planning your garden. Another great resource is this website where we are able to offer even more garden tools, books, watering aids, and gifts, as well as useful and inspiring information. Digging in the Dirt features our online GardenCycle Planner, a handy tool for journaling the life of your garden. You will also find gardening information, a glossary of terms, and a section for links to other useful gardening sites. We add new bits and peices when we can and will continue to make this site a complete destination for your gardening needs. If you would like us to send you a free catalog click the upper right hand link on this page.
