What Oxfam is Doing
As of April 2008, Oxfam teams and partner organizations in Peru are providing assistance to the affected population, especially in rural areas, where the need for water and sanitation is most desperate. In the areas of Pisco and Ica, where there was extensive damage, medical supplies, temporary shelter, water and sanitation services are being provided. A temporary Oxfam headquarters has been established in the Pisco area. Additional news updates and stories from Peru will be available on this Web site.
