COMMERCE SECRETARY DONALD L. EVANS STATEMENT ON TODAY’S SIGNING OF
U.S.-AUSTRALIA TRADE PACT

WASHINGTON, DC – Commerce Secretary Donald L. Evans praised today’s signing of the U.S.-Australia Free Trade Agreement stating that it will benefit American workers, consumers and manufacturers.

“The U.S.-Australia Free Trade agreement will boost the bottom lines of American manufacturers. Today's signing means more American jobs because we’ve leveled the playing field in a critical market for U.S. manufacturers.
