SEC. EVANS AND SEN. SMITH TO DISCUSS JOB AND ECONOMIC
GROWTH DURING PORTLAND ECONOMIC FORUM
U.S.
Secretary of Commerce Don Evans and U.S. Sen. Gordon Smith (Ore.)
will discuss the state of the economy and the details of President
Bush’s economic growth and jobs package during a visit to
Portland, Ore., Monday, April 28, 2003 at 10:00 a.m.
Evans and Smith will tour the Oregon Association of Minority Entrepreneurs
and meet with unemployed workers to discuss the President’s
job creation proposal to assist those looking for work find a job.
Evans and Smith will hold a media availability
following the meeting.
