Commerce Secretary to Talk Jobs and Education in McAllen, Texas

U.S. Commerce Secretary Don Evans will participate in a roundtable discussion with McAllen, Texas citizens on job training and economic growth and award South Texas Community College with a Commerce Department economic development grant on Friday, June 28.

The College will build an additional job training facility to train local citizens for jobs in the healthcare industry.

Texas Attorney General John Cornyn will join Secretary Evans.

Where: South Texas Community College Nursing and Allied Health Center.
