Commerce Department to Announce Spectrum Plan at Tuesday Press Conference

Commerce Secretary Don Evans will be joined by senior officials from the Defense Department and the Federal Communications Commission on Tuesday July 23rd at a press conference to announce the Commerce Department's plan for allocating additional spectrum for third generation (or 3G) mobile telecommunications services. Senior Commerce Department officials will be available for questions following the announcement.
