MCC Tiger Softball 2008-2009

The Tigers will be a young, but talented group going into the 2009 spring season. With only three sophomores, the freshmen will have to step up and compete right away. Leading the way, will be Kendra Markle on the mound and Katie Clement swinging the bat.The team will rely heavily on the deep pitching staff following Kendra, with Ashley Allen, Dani Fitzgerald and Sara Samuelson. Defensively the Tiger's are well set, with both Katie Clement and Becca Harvey behind the plate, Erin Davitt, Megan Mayer, and Allie Roberts working in on the infield, and Ellen Walter and Betsy Nymeyer roaming the outfield. The Tigers look to improve on the 30-win season from last year.
