Your Home Away From Home

Charles Sturt University (CSU) is Australia's largest inland institution and is increasingly regarded within Australia and overseas for its high-quality academic programs and pursuit of excellence in all facets of its operation. CSU has recognised the need for many prospective students to find accommodation in each of the cities in which it operates. The University operates major residential campuses at Bathurst, Orange and Wagga Wagga and has developing residential operations at Albury-Wodonga and Dubbo. The diversity and extent of the residential operations of the University is large.

The emphasis on the provision of student accommodation is one of high quality with services provided efficiently and effectively to minimise operational costs. Fees charged for accommodation services at CSU are modest with conference and function operations subsidising student fees.

The residential community is supported and structured to provide an environment to support student academic achievement. The Halls of Residence at CSU are not just a place to call home, but a place where you can actively work with others to promote a strong, vibrant, inclusive and caring residential community. The Residential Support Scheme operates across all campuses to provide for the pastoral care and welfare of residents and actively encourages student participation and involvement in all aspects of residential life.

There is a proud history of pro-active development of services and facilities to meet the divergent need of members of the residential community. An emphasis on inclusiveness and mutual respect has seen the Halls of Residence develop a proud and enviable tradition in the provision of student accommodation. Charles Sturt University is now one of the nation's leaders in providing for the accommodation needs of the University student community members.
