Production Ag & Acreages
Tom Dorn

Tom works in the areas of production agriculture and acreages. In addition to his one-on-one work with local clientele, Tom coordinates Crop Protection Clinics and Pesticide Applicator Trainings. He also works with the Pesticide Container Recycling Program in Lancaster County.

Urban Agriculture

In addition to his horticulture responsibilities, Don works in the area of Urban Agriculture. His NEBLINE articles include topics on water quality/quantity, acreages landscaping, shelterbelts, ATV safety and much more. He helped develop the Rural Living Clinics for Acreage Owners.

Biosolids
Barb Ogg

Barb is primarily responsible for administration of the Biosolids Land Application Program. The City of Lincoln contracts with UNL Extension in Lancaster County to coordinate distribution and application of biosolids to agricultural cropland.

GIS/GPS/Biosolids
David Smith

Dave provides the technical expertise in the Biosolids Land Application Program. He utilizes GIS/GPS and soil testing to ensure safe application to farm fields. Since 1992, the program has saved more than $3.6 million in landfill tipping fees with more than 360,000 tons of biosolids safely applied to farmland.

Karen Wedding

Karen primarily supports the Agriculture & Acreages, and Pest Management program areas. She is also responsible for Lancaster Education Center registrations.
