University of Florida to establish a college of public health

GAINESVILLE, Fla. — In an effort to improve the overall health and quality of life for Floridians, the University of Florida will establish a new college of public health, school officials announced today.

UF’s natural history museum to study catfish with $4.7 million NSF grant

UF Slated To Share In $45 Million Grant To Fight Bioterrorism, New Diseases

GAINESVILLE, Fla. — UF, together with a consortium of five other Southeastern universities, will share a five-year, $45 million federal grant to combat bioterrorism threats such as smallpox and emerging diseases such as SARS, the National Institutes of Health and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security announced today.

UF Receives Record $458.1 Million In Research Grants In 2002-03
