The Center for Distance and Professional Education, through its Distance Degree Programs unit, brings the best of Washington State University directly to you, in a convenient online format that lets you pursue a world-class education from wherever you have Internet access.
CDPE works with WSU colleges and academic departments to offer nine accredited online undergraduate degree completion programs to students throughout Washington state, the United States—and the world.
As a WSU Distance Degree Programs student you can expect:
- academically rigorous courses expertly adapted for online delivery
- instruction from the same faculty who teach on WSU campuses

Online Certificates
We also offer undergraduate certificates in professional writing and early childhood development and care, a graduate certificate in instructional design and several professional development certificates and courses.
Other WSU Distance Programs
CDPE provides various levels of support to other WSU undergraduate and graduate distance programs. Students in these programs receive academic advising and student support services from the appropriate academic department.
