Young Leaders

The NSSGA Young Leaders conduct an annual conference for industry professionals 40 years of age and younger to develop leadership and management skills, address and develop industry positions, build a national network of industry professionals, exchange ideas and discuss areas of mutual interest that will help them and their companies become more successful in the aggregates industry.

The YLC Annual Meeting is attended by young leaders from both large and small companies who come together from different fields in the industry. Young leaders who work in community relations, corporate development, engineering, environmental services, equipment management, exploration & planning, finance, government relations, human resources, production, operations, safety & health, and sales, along with those who are presidents and vice presidents of their own companies attend the YLC Annual Meeting.

Membership Requirements

Anyone 40 years of age or younger can attend the YLC Annual Meeting.

Duties & Responsibilities

A dedication to long-term improvement of the aggregates industry and attendance at the YLC Annual Meeting. Attendance at the NSSGA Annual Convention and TCC Fly-in are also encouraged. YLC member Spouses/Guests are invited to attend all activities held during the YLC Annual Meeting including seminars, networking functions and business sessions.
