The Arizona Teratology Information Program is a toll-free, confidential telephone service available to pregnant and lactating women, their families and healthcare providers.
ATIP provides accurate and current information to callers about possible effects a drug or substance may have during a pregnancy or breastfeeding.
Three part-time genetic counselors staff the pregnancy riskline Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (Mountain Standard Time).
ATIP is a member of the Organization of Teratology Information Specialists (OTIS). We are funded by the Arizona State Legislature. ATIP is administered by The University of Arizona College of Pharmacy and the College of Medicine.
