KidsHealth is a project of Nemours.

Nemours, established in 1936 by philanthropist Alfred I. duPont, is dedicated to improving the health and spirit of children. Today, as part of its continuing mission, Nemours supports the operation of a number of renowned children's health facilities throughout the nation, including the Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children in Wilmington, Delaware, and the Nemours Children's Clinics throughout Florida. Nemours also supports important clinical research aimed at translating advances in science into practical ways of improving health care for infants, children, and teens.

In addition to its direct clinical activities, Nemours - through its Division of Health and Prevention Services - is exploring innovative ways to prevent health problems before they begin and to encourage the development of healthy families and communities.

Nemours also creates high-impact educational projects that positively affect the health of children. These projects are developed through the Nemours Center for Children's Health Media, a part of Nemours completely dedicated to this task. The Center creates award-winning, family-friendly health information in a number of formats, including print, video, and online.
