This program exists in Commodity Inspection Division, of the Oregon Department of Agriculture. The program was developed to protect Oregon by providing sampling, inspection, and verification services that promote the economic development or Oregon's agriculture industry.

The programs found within the Plant Health section are conducted statewide and affect all segments of Oregon’s agricultural and horticultural community as well as natural resources in urban and rural environments.
