Public Transportation:

-Take No. 44 Bus to the East Orange Campus.

Via New Jersey Turnpike (I-95)

-Take I-95 to I-280 West (Exit 15W)
-Take I-280 to the Clinton St./(East Orange Exit)
-Turn left at the 3rd traffic light onto South Clinton St.
-Continue on South Clinton St. to Tremont Ave.
-Turn right onto Tremont Ave. and follow Tremont Ave. to Centre St.

Via I-280 West:

-Take I-280 West to Clinton St./(East Orange Exit)
-Turn left at 3rd traffic light onto South Clinton St.
-Take South Clinton St. to Tremont Ave.
-Turn right onto Tremont Ave. and follow Tremont Ave. to Centre St.

Via I-280 East:

-Take I-280 East to Centre St.
-Turn right onto Centre St.
-Follow Centre St. to Tremont Ave.
-Turn left onto Tremont Ave.

From Garden State Parkway - SOUTHBOUND:

-Take Garden State Parkway South to Exit 145, Central Ave.
-Cross Central Ave., and continue to Tremont Ave.
-Turn right onto Tremont Ave. to Centre St.

From Garden State Parkway - NORTHBOUND:

-Take Garden State Parkway North to Exit 144, South Orange Ave.
-Turn left at South Orange Ave.
-At 1st traffic light, turn right onto Maybaum.
-Follow Maybaum to 1st traffic light.
-Turn left onto Tremont Ave., and continue on Tremont Ave. to Centre St.

From I-78:

-Take I-78 to Garden State Parkway North.
-Follow directions above for Garden State Parkway NORTHBOUND.

Directions from VAMC Lyons to VAMC East Orange:

-From Lyons Main Building (Circle 1) exit right, via Knollcroft Rd.
-At the end of Knollcroft Rd., turn left onto Valley Rd.
-Continue to end of Valley Rd. Turn right onto King George Rd.
-After Exxon Gas Station, get in the Right Lane and enter I-78 East.
-Continue on I-78 East to Exit 49B (Maplewood). Note: I-78 East splits after approximately 10 miles. Stay to right, use Local lanes to exit.
-Exit at 49B which places you on Springfield Ave.(Rt 124)
-Enter jug handle for Valley Street. (2nd right after bridge)
-Stay on Valley St., 'till 7th traffic light which should be South Orange Ave. Turn right onto South Orange Ave.
-After 4th traffic light, make left onto Center St.
-Pass yellow blinking light, continue to 1st traffic light, which is Tremont Ave.
-Turn right onto Tremont Ave. followed by an immediate right turn into the East Orange Medical Center.

Parking

Parking will be on the left in front of the Main Building.  Free parking is available to all patients and visitors of the East Orange Campus of the VA New Jersey Health Care System.
