Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Course 7600 (Hurricane Katrina Disaster Site Worker Course)

Student Guide Lessons 1-10 

The following is the Instructor Guide for Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) 16-hour awareness course, designed to enable Disaster Site Workers to recognize that they have a responsibility to make decisions and choices that will positively affect their personal health/safety and that of others at the site.

Reduce ContaminationDownload Adobe Reader(199 KB) The National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) conducted a study of contamination of workers’ homes by hazardous substances transported from the workplace. The study documented cases of home contamination from 28 countries and 36 states in the United States. Reported cases cover a wide variety of materials, industries, and occupations.
