PRESIDENT
BUSH’S JOBS AGENDA GROWS ECONOMY IN 3RD QUARTER
WASHINGTON,
D.C. – Commerce Secretary Donald L. Evans applauded
today’s economic data that showed more American businesses
exporting and building their inventories in order to respond to
strong consumer demand.
“The
American economy is growing stronger and better than ever. Today’s
GDP numbers again prove the U.S. economy is the fastest growing
major industrialized economy and the world’s leading exporter.
President Bush’s leadership has put our nation on a path of
growth and opportunity. His pro-growth, pro-jobs policies are why
America is producing goods and services at record levels and why
nearly two million more Americans since August got up and went to
work this morning.
I’m
confident about our growing economy. This Administration will continue
to work hard for American families and businesses, defeating our
critics’ no-win pessimism that would stifle growth with higher
taxes, burdensome regulations and economic isolationism.”
