STATEMENT BY COMMERCE SECRETARY DONALD L. EVANS ON PRESIDENT’S INTENT TO NOMINATE BENJAMIN H. WU AS ASSISTANT SECRETARY FOR TECHNOLOGY POLICY

“I am delighted that President Bush has expressed his intent to nominate Ben Wu as Assistant Secretary for Technology Policy in the Technology Administration (TA). Ben has done an outstanding job as Deputy Under Secretary of TA and has demonstrated a commitment to strengthen U.S. technology through innovation and entrepreneurship.
