SECRETARY EVANS STATEMENT ON
JOBLESS CLAIMS, LEADING INDICATORS

Secretary Evans made the following statement regarding the improved jobless claims and the Conference Board’s Leading Indicators:

“Jobless claims are coming down, economic indicators are going up, and sustained job creation is on the way. The strong rise in the Conference Board’s Leading Indicators suggests economic growth is improving thanks to the President’s tax relief. The President will not rest until every American who wants to work can find a job.”
