Secretary of Commerce Don Evans to Speak on the Bush Administration's Free Trade Agenda at Woodrow Wilson Center

Washington, DC - Secretary Don Evans will be the featured speaker at the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars' Board of Directors and Wilson Council Dinner. He will discuss free trade, its impact on the domestic and global economies, and the importance of Trade Promotion Authority for the President.

The Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars is the living memorial to Woodrow Wilson, the 28th President of the United States. A non-partisan institute, the Center promotes no policy agenda, but acts as a forum for research and debate of current events and historical issues. The Woodrow Wilson Center supports research in social sciences and humanities, with an emphasis on history, political sciences, and international relations.
