December 9 Surface Water Quality
Standards Hearing Postponed to March 2009
The
December 9 public hearing concerning proposed changes to Surface Water Quality
standards was postponed and will be held at
the March 2009 meeting of the Water Management Board.
Comments that have been received will be kept on file and will be presented at
the March 2009 meeting.
The Department of Environment and Natural Resources is required by the state and
federal Clean Water Act to review and update surface water quality standards and
the beneficial uses assigned to lakes and streams
every three years.
