The
Front Range of Colorado is a wonderful place to call home. We have
the majesty of the mountains gracing our western skyline, abundant
wildlife to share our lands with, and highly productive yet fragile
prairie. As your local small acreage management specialists, we
would like to take this opportunity to introduce ourselves to you.
The Country Acres Resource Team (C.A.R.T.), sponsored by the Colorado
Association of Soil Conservation Districts, is a partnership that
was started in 1997 as a way to coordinate communication between
the small acreage landowning customers and local natural resource
agencies. C.A.R.T. is a partnership of the Natural Resources Conservation
Service, Colorado State Extension in Adams, Arapahoe,
and Weld Counties, the Weed Management Departments of Adams, Arapahoe,
and Weld Counties, Soil Conservation Districts, the Colorado Division
of Wildlife in Adams, Arapahoe, and Southern Weld Counties, and
the Colorado State Forest Service in Adams and Southern Weld Counties.
Since then, we have extended our reach to local Soil Conservation
Districts, County agencies, and private homeowners associations.
