Adopt a Garden

Since 1982, we've sought and secured funding on behalf of school garden programs that helped to introduce more than 1 million youngsters to the benefits of gardening.
We regularly administer grants and awards for youth gardening programs across America.
In the past 5 years NGA has received over 7,400 grant applications, but has been able to fund just a small fraction of them.
For more than 35 years, NGA has been a trusted source for gardeners and educators with free information.
