The
Extension Nutrition Education Program (NEP) provides information on
nutrition, healthy cooking, food safety, and food budgeting. Our objectives
are to improve the nutritional well being of low-income Coloradans and
increase their ability to manage food resources. In doing so, we strive
to provide a positive, encouraging, and successful experience for those
with limited incomes. When participants complete the course, they receive
a free cookbook and a certificate from Colorado State University
Extension.
