Corporate Volunteers

Get Good Things Growing With Your Employees

Looking for an activity that will benefit your employees, your community and the environment?

Evergreen's corporate planting and stewardship events are a great way to make a difference! A specialized planting event for your employees is a unique way to build leadership, acquaint diverse teams and benefit the community.

Watch this video of a corporate planting with Citizens Bank in Vancouver and Toronto, which showcases how Evergreen works with companies to give back to the community.

Since 1991, Evergreen has been bringing nature back to Canada's cities. Working side-by-side with dedicated volunteers, Evergreen has initiated greening projects at hundreds of parks, community gardens and restoration sites in over a dozen municipalities across Canada.

Evergreen has created a special opportunity for corporate groups to help enhance local green space by planting trees, shrubs and wildflowers in public spaces at personalized planting and stewardship events. You show up and we'll provide

  • Event management and coordination
  • Plant material (trees, shrubs and wildflowers best-suited to the site)
  • Tools, gloves and equipment
  • Training and site interpretation
  • Water and light refreshments

"Holding our Employee Appreciation Day with Evergreen gave our staff the opportunity to enjoy a glorious afternoon outdoors in scenic, natural setting just minutes from our downtown offices. We had feedback from employees saying they thoroughly enjoyed the day and felt they had contributed their time to a very worthwhile cause."
~ Steve Mannik, exec. vice president and general manager, Reinsurance, Manulife Financial
