Parenting Education

Positive parenting education

Positive parenting education is a teaching tool developed to provide parents and educators with research-based resources and information to strengthen family relationships through parenting techniques. There are six lessons that could be taught in a sequence, combined or taught individually as a stand alone lesson. They are: Self-Esteem (Personal Development), Self-Esteem (Making a Difference), Communication, Effective Discipline, Problem Solving and Decision Making, and Peer Pressure and Accepting Responsibility. These classes are available to any group of 12 or more people. Resources, handouts and group interaction are the content of these sessions. Must be booked in advance.
