Designated Item of the Month:
Water Tank Coatings
Biobased products may be helping deliver clean, safe water to your faucet. With 62 percent biobased content, vegetable-oil based polyurethane coatings are providing a more cost-effective alternative, while maintaining the performance quality of coatings traditionally made from petroleum. Sprayed onto the walls of steel, concrete and other drinking water supply systems such as tanks, reservoirs and piping, biobased coatings create a layer of plastic that will help prevent corrosion and other deterioration for up to 15 years.
