Scotch Lovage (Sea Lovage)
Ligusticum scoticum

Despite the name, Scotch lovage is native in New England. It is also native in northern Europe and Asia, and along the Pacific coast of North America. In Connecticut, it is an endangered species.

• Habitat: salt marshes, rocky shores
• Height: 15-24 inches
• Flower size: tiny, in clusters 2-4 inches across
• Flower color: white
• Flowering time: July to August
• Origin: native
