Driving Instructions from I-5 to the Capitol Learning Center Parking Lot
From I-5, take the Market Street Exit and head West* on Market Street.
* From I-5 Northbound - Take a left onto Market Street from the exit
* From I-5 Southbound - Take a right onto Market Street from the exit
When you get to Summer Street (approx. 1-1/2 miles), take a left onto Summer Street. Go approximately .6 miles to the "Yellow Lot" located on the right hand side of Summer St. (on the corner of Summer and Marion St.). It is a day-use parking lot where you can purchase a one-day parking pass from a machine in the parking lot. The cost is $6.00. The machine will accept quarters, $1, $5 or a $10 bill. Make sure you find a spot before you purchase a ticket (sometimes the lot is full. After you purchase your parking pass, put it on the dash of your car. You can also use a state of Oregon one-day parking permit in this lot.
After you park, walk 1 block South (toward the Capitol Bldg) to the Capitol Learning Center at the State Library Bldg. (The State Library Bldg. is on your right if you are looking at the Capitol). Double check the class signs posted in the lobby (sometimes there are last minute room changes).
