Memorial service Sunday for Laboratory employee Selcow-Stein

A memorial service for Laboratory employee Elizabeth Selcow-Stein is scheduled for 3 p.m., Sunday in the Los Alamos Jewish Center.

Selcow-Stein died September 19 after a lengthy illness. She was 50 and worked in Lagrangian (X-3-LGRN). Her husband, Paul Stein works in Applied Engineering Technology (AET-4).

Selcow-Stein joined the Laboratory in June 2001 in the Applied Physics Division. She worked in the Lab's Advanced Simulation and Computing program, part of the High Performance Computing (HPC) Division. Her bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees in nuclear engineering were from Columbia University.

The Los Alamos Jewish Center is at 2400 Canyon Road.
