Bradbury’s new exhibit discussed on KRSN Monday

By Ed Vigil

July 13, 2007

Omar Juveland and Johnnie Martinez of the Community Programs Office are scheduled to be on radio station KRSN Monday morning to talk about a new exhibit opening that evening at the Bradbury Science Museum.

"They Changed the World: The People of Project Y at Los Alamos, 1943-1945," is a collection of portraits by Santa Fe photographer aj Melnick.

“The People of Project Y” is the result of Melnick’s efforts to find and photograph as many local people as she could who had worked on “the Hill" during the war years. An opening reception is scheduled from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Monday and the public is invited.

The interview begins at 7:40 a.m.

Employees can listen to the broadcast live via streaming audio following the links at http://www.krsnam1490.com. KRSN is at 1490 on the AM radio dial.

See Wednesday’s Daily NewsBulletin for information about the exhibit.
