Welcome

The Canadian Centre for Occupational Health and Safety (CCOHS) and the European Agency for Safety and Health at Work are working together to promote sharing of information on current safety and health topics of common interest.

This web site provides links to occupational safety and health (OSH) information available from Canadian government agencies that have OSH responsibilities.

Use the links on the left to access subject-specific information from the agencies' own web sites.

Regulatory responsibility for occupational health and safety in Canada rests with federal, provincial and territorial governments. The following documents on CCOHS' web site describe the Canadian regulatory framework for health and safety in the workplace.

Many organizations are involved in occupational health and safety in Canada. An alphabetical list of Canadian organizations that work in the OSH field - governments, associations, labour unions, charities, companies, etc. - is provided on CCOHS' web site.
