2007 Ag Chemical Dealer Updates
Crop production changes at a rapid pace. New products, label revisions, regulatory requirements, and soil nutrient recommendations are just some of the items you need to stay up to date on to better serve your customers. The Ag Chemical Dealer Updates are designed to do just that. The Ag Chemical Dealer Updates are intended to deliver the latest crop production recommendations, news, and information directly from Iowa State University (ISU) Extension. Each location features updates on weed, insect, crop disease, and soil nutrient management brought to you by Iowa State University experts. Meetings will review the positives and negatives of the 2007 growing season and prepare seed, chemical, and fertilizer dealers, crop consultants, farm managers, and agronomists for the challenges of the 2008 crop production year. Each of the nine meetings also is a convenient way to obtain continuing education units for Certified Crop Advisers, as well as recertification for commercial ag pesticide applicators in categories 1A, 1B, 1C, and 10 for 2007. The registration fee is $40 for each location until seven days before the meeting date. Late registration or registration at the door is $60. There is an additional $10 fee for those needing applicator recertification credits. Online registration and additional meeting details are available at www.aep.iastate.edu.
