The Integrated Crop Management (ICM) Conference is scheduled for November 28 and 29 at the Iowa State Center on the Iowa State University campus in Ames. Registration opens at 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday, November 28, in the Scheman Building.

The ICM Conference has something to offer everyone involved in crop production and protection in Iowa and the surrounding states. Attendees can select from 42 different workshops featuring the latest crop production information from experts from around the Midwest. Up to 13 Certified Crop Adviser (CCA) credits and commercial pesticide applicator recertification in categories 1A, 1B, 1C, and 10 also will be available. Additionally, those certified in category 4--Seed Treatment also will have the opportunity for recertification. Attendees can choose from as many as six topics that are offered each hour. This flexibility allows attendees to customize their conference experience to meet specific agronomic interests and CCA credit needs.

A popular feature of the conference is the variety of guest speakers on the program. This year we have six individuals providing corn, soybean, plant pathology, entomology, and soil fertility presentations.

Be sure to stop by Hilton Coliseum for the Agribusiness Expo, a cooperative effort between Iowa State University Extension and the Agribusiness Association of Iowa (AAI). The Expo features more than 75 exhibitors representing all aspects of crop production. The Expo floor will be open from noon to 8 p.m. on Wednesday (see photo below). At 6 p.m., the All-Industry Social begins on the exhibit floor.

The registration fee is $175. After November 16, registration increases to $225. Enrollment is limited and no registrations will be accepted at the door. Registrations are accepted on a first-come, fees-paid basis. Be sure to register early to guarantee your spot at this popular annual event!
