Dates set for 14th ICM Conference

If you are interested in the latest crop production and protection information, please plan to attend the 14th Annual Integrated Crop Management Conference (Integrated Crop Management) to be held on December 4 and 5 at the Iowa State Center in Ames. Registration is in the C.Y. Stephens Auditorium.

Last year, the Integrated Crop Management Conference attracted more than 980 participants from throughout the United States. The 2-day conference is designed to highlight emerging and current issues in production agriculture. Farm managers; agronomists; soil conservationists; crop management consultants and dealers; and other representatives of seed, chemical, and fertilizer companies should attend.

Selected workshops will qualify for certified crop advisor continuing education units. In addition, certified commercial pesticide applicator in categories 1A, 1B, 1C, and 10 can fulfill their 2002 continuing instructional course needs.

A brochure will be mailed at a later date. If you are not currently on the Agribusiness Education Program (AEP) mailing list and would like to be included, please check our Web site at http://extension.agron.iastate.edu/aged/ and click on the "mail list" to register your address. You also may contact Jerolyne Packer at jpacker@iastate.edu or by phone at (515) 294-6429. The mailing address for AEP is 2104 Agronomy Hall, Iowa State University, Ames, IA 50011.
