Animal Movement Permits
All cervids, wild animals, and any animals being imported for circuses, rodeos, or menageries must obtain an import permit prior to entering Wisconsin. To apply for an import permit, please download the appropriate permit application, fill it out completely, and fax it along with a copy of the certificate of veterinary inspection for all of the animals coming into Wisconsin to 608-224-4871.

Other animals may also require an import permit prior to import. Check the import requirements for the species you are importing to find out if you need an import permit. To apply for an import permit, please download the general import permit application form, fill it out completely, and fax it with a copy of the certificate of veterinary inspection for the animals to 608-224-4871.
