Streams and Rivers

Streams near KBS have also long attracted the attention of ecologists, and nearby Augusta Creek has been the most intensively studied. This third-order stream originates in groundwater-fed lakes and passes through riparian wetlands and woodlands along much of its course, and it supports a trout fishery.
