The Center for Invasive Plant Management represents a coalition of agencies, organizations, and individuals interested in managing invasive plants and maintaining healthy ecosystems in western North America. Enhancing land manager and public education, coordinating regional research, facilitating partnerships, increasing multidisciplinary communication, and implementing practical management programs are the Center’s goals.

The excellent California Department of Food and Agriculture ENCYCLOWEEDIA:  Notes on Identification, Biology, and Management of Plants Defined as Noxious Weeds by California Law has a wealth of information on invasive plants in the Golden State.

The Colorado Weed Management Association works to continually preserve and improve the natural resources of our beautiful state on public and private lands. Members of the CWMA enjoy a Colorado-wide network of people active in preserving the state's natural resources from the threat of noxious weeds.

Weber County, Utah Weed Abatement Home Page a very well done site that tells it like it is.

The INVADERS Database is a comprehensive database of exotic plant names and weed distribution records for five states in the northwestern United States. The spatial and temporal spread of weeds can be displayed using the historic distribution records in INVADERS. The INVADERS web site contains actual examples of how land management and weed regulatory agencies are using these data to improve their weed management programs. Noxious weed listings are provided for all US states and six southern tier Canadian provinces.

 Weeds Gone Wild: Alien Plant Invaders of Natural Areas is a web-based project of the Plant Conservation Alliance's Alien Plant Working Group, that provides information for the general public, land managers, researchers, and others on the serious threat and impacts of invasive alien (exotic, non-native) plants to the native flora, fauna, and natural ecosystems of the United States.

The Center for Invasive Plant Management has recently added a Western Weed Resources Catalog to their website. This catalog lists thousands of brochures, videos, slides, pamphlets and books on weeds, herbicides, revegetation, etc. and who to contact to get them. This is a great resource when you're thinking of making a brochure on a particular subject and wonder if someone else has already done it!

The Crop Data Management Systems hosts an excellent website which has a listing Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) for fertilizer and pesticide products of North American manufacturers.  The labels are as PDF documents and are available here...
