David Andow

Professor David Andow has recieved a Grant from the Minnesota Futures Grant Program

The grant is for Dr. Andow to develop and convene an interdisciplinary symposium on "Predicting Invasive Potential of Exotic Species". Click on the link above for more information on the Minnesota Futures Grant Program.

Len Ferrington

Professor Len Ferrington was awarded the 2006 International Achievement Award by the College of Food, Agricultural and Natural Resource Sciences (CFANS).

The International Achievement Award is to recognize faculty, alumni, and friends who have created or strengthened our professional linkages with the College of Food, Agricultural and Natural Resource Sciences (CFANS) internationally; outstanding contributions to research, training, and outreach activities internationally; or professional achievements within their own countries and internationally.

Roger Moon

Professor Roger Moon was awarded the 2006 FAME award.

The Faculty Award for Mentorship in Entomology (first presented in 2005) is given each year by Frenatae, the Entomology Graduate Student organization, in recognition of outstanding commitment to the mentorship of graduate students.

Ralph Holzenthal

Professor Ralph Holzenthal was awarded the 2005 FAME award.

Bedbugs are Back! Assistant Professor Stephen Kells is featured in the Bell Museum's Imprint Magazine, talking about bedbugs. Visit his website, IPMCtoC to read about the resurgence of bedbugs and for tips on preventing and controlling infestations. Prof. Kells also has issued a Student Advisory Regarding Bed Bugs (PDF file).
