Potato leafhopper
Photograph: Potato leafhopper, Empoasca fabae (Homoptera: Cicadellidae). This insect overwinters along the Gulf of Mexico from Louisiana to northern Georgia and the panhandle of Florida. Each spring adults are carried on upper wind currents to the north central and eastern U.S. where it is an important pest of alfalfa, potato and other crops.

All chapters listed here are now posted on the server. Titles link to the chapter. We posted our first chapter 9 January, 1996. Seventy chapters have been posted as of 6 June, 2006. We welcome contributed chapters on all aspects of IPM, see Instructions for Contributors.
