Becky L. Kington

MWCA Executive Director (2000 - present)

Becky Kington has been the Executive Secretary of the Montana Weed Control Association since 2000. She was hired as a part time employee and in December of 2006, the Board of Directors decided to fund the Executive Secretary position on a full time basis. Becky is a native Montanan, born in Missoula and raised in Helena. She graduated from UM Western Montana College in 1990 with a degree in secondary education art and English. She taught school in Clyde Park, Dillon, and Bridger, Montana, and served a four-year stint in Boardman, Oregon. In 2002 Becky accepted a job as the project coordinator for the Madison Valley Ranchlands Group Weed Committee and began a full time career in the nonprofit realm.

She currently resides in Twin Bridges, Montana, with her partner, Pete Novich and his son Hayes. There she volunteers for the local arena club secretary and serves in an advisory capacity for the Big Hole Watershed Weed Committee. She actively participates in rodeo, camps, rides, and fishes in the high country when she can, and occasionally picks up the pencil for some artwork in her limited spare time.

Diana Ericson joined the MWCA in the spring of 2008.  She is responsible for the maintenance of our website and the database that supports MWCA activites, retail purchases, and membership.
