2008 Waterfowl Progress:

Canada Geese

Waterfowl numbers will continue to grow throughout the fall, typically peaking some time in October or Novenber, depending on the weather
Swan

The Mute swan in the Lagoon hatched on May 19.Two cygnets remain

The Australian Black Swan renested and are raising 6 cygnets.

The pair of Trumpeters on the lake have two cygnets. This aggressive pair keeps most of the other swan far away from their territory.
