NFPA received about 5,000 proposals for the 2011 edition of the National Electrical Code®, which will be addressed by code-making panels in Hilton Head, SC, this month.
NFPA seeks public review and comment on new projects or documents dealing with gels used in wildland and structural firefighting, protective ensembles, contaminated water operations, and selection and maintenance of life safety rope and equipment.
Proposals sought on proposed new document: NFPA 1984, Standard on Respirators for Wildland Fire Fighting Operations.
