Organized in October 2001, the ARRL Development Office is dedicated to generating vital revenue in support of ARRL programs not funded by member dues. Building on ARRL's strong financial position, The Development Office is dedicated to building lasting relationships with ARRL members-- individuals, corporations and foundations-- whose generosity strengthens ARRL's work on behalf of Amateur Radio.
The office at ARRL Headquarters in Newington is staffed by Chief Development Officer, Mary M. Hobart, K1MMH, and Development Associates Maryann Macdonald and Margie Bourgoin, KB1DCO.
Since 1914 the ARRL has embodied the progressive spirit that is a hallmark of Amateur Radio and has reflected the varied interests of all radio amateurs.

The world of Amateur Radio can be unpredictable and ARRL must remain vigilant. The leadership and financial commitment of ARRL members and donors remain essential to the future of Amateur Radio.
The Development programs offer members and donors an array of giving options to meet the charitable giving interests of ARRL members, including annual campaigns, ARRL funds, memorial gifts and estate planning opportunities.
Here is a brief summary of these opportunities:
ARRL Annual Giving
ARRL is a financially strong organization based on the annual support of 160,000 members. Two programs offer members opportunities to increase their yearly contributions to ARRL and receive additional benefits.
ARRL Funds
ARRL permanent funds welcome member support dedicated to various areas of the ARRL mission. Contributions to ARRL funds are restricted to the expressed purpose of each fund. ARRL conducts annual campaigns to attract support for select key funds.
By including ARRL in estate plans members leave a powerful legacy for Amateur Radio and provide the long range financial power for ARRL to work for Amateur Radio and fulfill the mission of ARRL.
There is nor more fitting tribute to a fellow ham than to make a contribution to ARRL in memory and honor.
You can increase the impact of your contribution to ARRL by applying for corporate matching funds from your employer.
