- Solitron Microwave Superfund Site, Port Salerno, Florida
EPA has presented the Port Salerno Industrial Park (PSIP) with an "Excellence in Site Reuse" award for developing the Solitron Microwave Superfund Site in a manner which has enhanced EPA's cleanup approach at the site and resulted in the revitalization of the property and the surrounding community. Region 4 established the "Excellence in Site Reuse" award to be given to parties who support Superfund Redevelopment through outstanding efforts when reusing or revitalizing a Superfund site.
